Youghurt dough is without a doubt the most versatile dough you could make.
It works well as savoury and sweet. Can be made into doughnuts, bread rolls, scrolls, pretzels, naan bread but today, a sweet treat was on the cards.
This apple pull apart load is delicious and super quick and easy to make. (Can't promise it's not messy but it's oh so worth it)
1 cups self raising flour plus 1 cup reserved

1 cup of greek yogurt
2tbs softened butter
2tbs brown sugar
2 tbs cinnamon.
1 apple thinly sliced
Milk (to wash over scrolls)

Preheat oven 180°c
In a bowl mix 1 cup self raising flour with 1 cup of Greek yoghurt.
Form into a dough.
On a floured surface knead lightly and roll out to a 1/2 inch thickness. (Square in shape)
Meanwhile In a seperate bowl add butter, sugar and cinnamon and make into a paste.
Spread paste over dough, lay out apples (sprinkle brown sugar optional) and roll up.

Cut into 2 inch slices and a stand up on top of each other.
Brush milk wash over loaf and bake for approximately 25mins or until golden and brown.
Optional:
Powdered sugar icing
1 cup sifted powdered sugar
¼ teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon milk or orange juice
Mix together and drizzle over loaf.
TIP: Depending on the variety of yoghurt your dough can be very sticky. Keep adding the flour until you're happy with the texture of the dough. The dough should not stick to your bench.
