Nectarine and Hot Honey Haloumi Salad

It’s half fruit, half cheese with some obligatory greens… This grilled festive beauty is all flavour and will be a show stopper at your next event .


The tart nectarines paired with the hot honey haloumi are an unlikely match made in heaven - you will not be disappointed.


What you need

⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

Nectarines- cheeks cut and quartered

Mixed leaves

Red onion

1/4 cup Pepitas


Dressing

2 tbsp EVOO

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

1 tbsp honey

Salt & pepper


On a hot griddle plate or bbq - char each side of your nectarines - set aside to cool


In a bowl, mix all your ingredients for the dressing.


Toss your green leaves in the dressing - once dressed place on a separate serving plate - top with red onions, nectarines, hot honey Haloumi, candied walnuts, Pepitas.


Serve
