Smokey BBQ Slow Cooked Ribs.


For the Rub.

1/4 cup brown sugar

2 teaspoons kosher salt

2 teaspoons black pepper

2 teaspoons smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon celery salt

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

For the sauce

1/2 orange

1 cup Smokey bbq sauce

1/2 honey

.

Tips - remove sinew from ribs and Pat dry

.

Cover with foil tightly and cook on slow for 3hrs. 150°c. .

.

The orange juice helps break down the proteins in the meat.

.

Only glaze with the sauce after 3hrs… can be glazed and returned to oven or the BBQ.
