Spicy Apricot Chicken Wings

The best finger food recipe for whether treating a crowd, satisfying hungry bellies for the impeding wrap up of footy season or just sitting down to movie night with a big bowl of comfort – these spicy apricot chicken wings will do the trick.

Easy to prepare and the taste is ahhhhhhhmazing!!! You can not go wrong with these finger licking good wings #crowdpleaser.

1 Small Jar Apricot Jam

2 Tablespoon Soy

1-2 Tablespoon Siracha (depending on level of heat you would like)

½ Tablespoon Sesame Oil

1 Fresh deseeded Chilli

1 thumb size ginger grated

Sesame Seeds

In a small pot, on low heat, melt together jam, soy, siracha, sesame oil, fresh chilli and ginger.

Once melted together, pour over chicken wings and let marinade for min of 15mins however ideally overnight.

Preheat over o 180c - Place on baking tray and bake for 20 mins – turn and baste wings with more marinade and bake for an additional 10 mins – turning again, basting and sprinkling with sesame seeds and then grilling for an additional 5 mins (or until full cooked through and golden and brown)

The grilling at the end allows the wings to crisp up.

Serve with a sprinkling of green onions and if you dare more fresh red red chilli.
