Thai Meatballs

Natalie D'Angelo

These meatballs are made with pork or chicken, they have a brilliant Thai flavour and are delicious on their own as a protein hit, or served with rice, Thai leafy salad, or noodle salad… you could even drizzle a little red curry over the top. Whatever way you serve these - you (And your tribe) will not be disappointed. (Ohhhh and did I mention these are cost effective… costing under $10 to make. I say that’s a win 🙌🏼🙌🏼

What you need

⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

500 g pork mince or chicken mince

1 tbsp garlic paste (or finely chopped fresh)

1 tsp ginger paste (or finely chopped fresh)

1-2 Thai or birds eye chillies , seeds removed and finely chopped (omit if spice is not your thing)

1/4 cup spring onions chopped

1 tbsp coriander

1 tbsp sesame oil

Oil spray for spraying the pan.

Mix all your ingredients well, and roll into golf sized balls.

I left mine overnight to let the flavours marinade but it’s not necessary.

Spray pan with oil, and fry the meatballs on a low heat, ensuring all sides are golden brown.

Serve with a sweet chilli dipping sauce.
