Tim Tam Chocolate Tart

CAUTION ⚠️ Look away if you’re counting calories. This super indulgent Tim Tam Chocolate Tart is a deliciously wicked treat for any celebration. #itsatreat

2 Packets of Tim Tams (400g)

50g unsalted butter melted

300g Dark Chocolate

300g Cream

1tsp Vanilla extract

3 Egg Yolks.

Raspberries

Chopped Pistachios

Rose Petals (optional).

Blitz Tim Tams till they resemble a fine crumb.

Add melted butter and stir till combined.

.

In a greased fluted pan, press in Tim Tam crumb and chill for 15mins.

.

Meanwhile, bring cream to just boiling point, add chocolate and stir till melted.

Add your vanilla and stand to cool.

Once cool, add yolks and stir till combined.

Pour on top of chilled base and bake for approximately 15-20mins 180°c until set.

Cool (preferably overnight but not necessary). Add your raspberries, sprinkle pistachios and rose petals and serve.

Best served with vanilla ice-cream..

This is a celebration cake and should be enjoyed in it’s entirety.
