The beautiful thing about food is that it has the power to bring us together. There are so many moments and memories made just by sharing a meal with loved ones, friends, family or even on your own.
My time in the kitchen takes me from cooking for one (me) or cooking for an entire family with all sorts of tastebuds... and it's never unusual for me to cater for those different tastes in one sitting...but that's the thing, cooking for me has always been about connecting myself and ensuring that all bellies are nourished.
Eating a nourishing meal is an act of self-care and love.. Our well-being is paramount and can be achieved with what we eat. #foodcanbemedicine.
We know from our own experiences that the fuel we put in, is the energy we will exert through the day and I hope my recipes in the blog will help you self-nourish.
It's always about balance not deprivation.
My recipes are generally super easy and quick (because let's face it, we want delicious food without the expense of slaving in the kitchen) I keep it simple not to overwhelm. BUT remembering little steps and changes make for bigger changes in the long run.
The dream is to have my recipes and perhaps some home remedies for health, beauty and happiness on this blog and eventually into a book.
